Emily is a freshman majoring in biochemistry. After she graduates, she hopes to pursue a PhD in molecular and cellular biology. Right now, she is involved in undergraduate research. She joined Jayhawks Breaking Barriers to learn how to become a better leader and to bring more attention to the gender gap in STEM fields.
