Workshop 4: Resiliency RSVP

Monday, March 27th, 6-8 p.m., The Commons in Spooner Hall


With a focus on leadership skills, this two-part workshop consists of the following:

Part 1 (6:00–7:15 pm): Interact with a panel of academic and business professionals: Learn about their careers, how they overcame failure or rejection, and how they have recognized and leveraged their strengths to accomplish their goals. This open discussion will offer you ways to think about how you can achieve your own success. The Workshop Series Page to learn about the panelists.

Part 2 (7:20–8:00 pm): Work in small groups to think about ways you can sell your skills and how to further recognize your strengths. We encourage you to bring a copy of your résumé/CV to help you break down and list your skills. With this activity, we hope that you can identify soft skills in addition to your technical skills so that you can use them as strengths in your cover letter and during interviews.
